As a child, I was fascinated by the so-called haunted places near our old house. My grandmother’s tales of ghosts and demons only fueled my curiosity, what did they look like? Were they as terrifying as she described? My friends and I dreamed of facing these creatures, of venturing into the unknown in search of adventure. Murkatta is a reflection of that childhood imagination, an exploration of fear, bravery, and the thrill of confronting the unknown.
